Ensure you have the right equipment for your packing. Protect your breakable items using bubble wrap. Line boxes with bubble wrap and then wrap individual items at least twice in bubble wrap. Fill spaces in each box with packing paper to stop the items moving during transit.

Use furniture covers to protect furniture e.g. mattresses. If storing wooden or leather furniture, clean the items with furniture protection e.g. wax/leather shine to keep your furniture in good condition during storage.
